Blessing Home Ministry
Blessing Home Khon Kaen is a discipleship community—a community where we learn about the character of God and seek to help each person fulfill God’s purposes for their life. Over the years, we have seen many generations of people pass through Blessing Home.
Our family began this ministry in 2000, when staff and fellow ministry workers began staying in our family home. Since then, this home has helped develop and send out many generations of servants. We have encouraged and supported many people as they completed their education, began working, or entered into ministry.
Today, our community and home are shared by 13 people.
Our Calling
God has called us through Luke 5:31–32:
“It is not those who are healthy who need a doctor, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Because of this calling, we began reaching out to people who are in need. We go to share the Gospel with people in drug rehabilitation centers, juvenile detention centers, poor communities, and with people experiencing homelessness.
Through this ministry, we have seen the heart of Jesus for people who are still searching for the genuine help that comes from God. We have also had opportunities to help some people leave high-risk environments, provide them with opportunities, and care for them as much as God enables us to.
The Blessing Home Ministry
Genesis 12:2
“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.”
Our desire is to be a community of God that He can bless, and a community that goes out to be a blessing to others. This is the covenant and promise that God has given to us.
We seek to do this by living together, developing and strengthening one another’s lives, learning and practicing what it means to know God, and going out to make God known.
